What has the world of Triple-A gaming come to? Incomplete, buggy games being released at Triple-A prices, and by the time the bugs are finally fixed, the game has been polluted with microtransactions that make it difficult to sit down and enjoy the simplicity of Call of Duty that fans all know and love. I've been around since the roots of the series. If things get fixed-I have doubts they will, but you never know, maybe they'll actually care enough to fix it-then I'll return. I'm not even sure how to classify this next issue, so I'll make it as clear as I can to minimize confusion.
I applaud you for making such a wonderful game that I can't even enjoy with my college friends or family. Sometimes we can't even log in to the BO4 servers at the same time, so we can't even play at the same time. I tried a bunch of the solutions suggested, even going so far as to contact my ISP, and nevertheless, we still can't play together. When I looked up the issue, I found that it's a widespread epidemic. We brought our Xbox systems and planned on playing together, but the same issue persisted even on our home network. But recently, we were dismissed for Thanksgiving Break, and both returned home. When this first happened, I figured it was just an issue with my college's network we've had similar problems with games like Destiny 2.

I go to the same college as my brother, and when we try to play Black Ops 4 together, we can't join each other's lobbies-the same has occurred for my friends who play on PS4 AND PC. The first issue I've personally encountered has to do with its server system.

I could rant about some of the things built into the game such as the hit detection or the Specialist system ( seems a bit too MOBA-like, eh?) or the lack of a campaign, but I'd rather focus on the primary problem of the game: bugs and issues which should have been fixed at launch-or rather, full attention should be diverted to fixing these issues rather than waiting several weeks to do so in a major patch update. I'm writing this over a month after it's been out, and it hasn't seemed to improve at all. This brings me to Black Ops 4-yet another COD game with a terrible launch. The game definitely progressed in a positive direction as its timeline continued, but we can't forget that it was the second straight game with a rough launch. Also, WW2 was an alright game-it went in the direction that I think led to giving BO4 its redeeming qualities (mostly just boots on the ground combat, that is), but if you played the game at launch you'd remember that the social space was bugged and the servers were garbage. Infinite Warfare was simply an incomplete game-we didn't have any leaderboards and lots of content was locked seems pretty stupid to sell us an incomplete game for $60. Worst COD on launch in my opinion, but in all honesty the past three CODs have been terrible at launch.
